Lovett Industrial, in collaboration with PCCP, has announced the start of the construction on the new logistics hub in Garland, Texas, US.

Alston Construction is the general contractor for the project.

The Garland Innovation Center is designed to accommodate a variety of tenants, with spaces ranging from 20,000ft² to 143,000ft².

This development marks Lovett Industrial’s eighth project in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, adding to its presence that includes more than 5.3 million square feet of space either completed or under construction.

Lovett Industrial director Bennett See said: “With an existing vacancy rate of only 4.6% in Garland, and extremely limited opportunities for newly constructed, Class-A product, we are excited not only to offer the tenants in Garland the opportunity to stay in Garland as their businesses grow but also to attract the next generation of businesses to the City of Garland.

“We believe the Garland Innovation Center benefits from a wonderful, business-friendly environment, an ideal location, fantastic labour, and best-in-class facilities designed with all our future users’ needs in mind. We are incredibly excited about Garland Innovation Center and look forward to continuing to work within the City of Garland.”
