Glass canopy systems
Architectural glass canopy systems provide entrance and communal areas with stylish and contemporary cover without restricting light and space. Ion Glass offers versatile designs for a range of properties and manufacture bespoke ironmongery and fixings to suit each glass canopy.
The canopies are manufactured from 13.5 to 25.5mm laminated glass with a maximum panel size of 1878mm x 4650mm and a wide choice of designs including straight, curved, coloured, sandblasted and tinted canopies. Ion can also integrate logos, building numbers and branding if so desired.
Glass partitions
Bespoke glass partitions are perfect for a variety of commercial environments including office areas, retail spaces and leisure centres where they create subtle screening whilst providing light and space. Ion Glass partitions can integrate frameless glass doors with sliding, hinged and pivot openings. Decorative glass treatments include sandblasted glass, tinted glass and coloured glass to enliven glass partitioning, whilst tailor-made fixing options include patch fittings, concealed channel and clamping systems.
Bespoke shower screens
Ion Glass bespoke shower screens are frameless in design and ideal for maximising available space. Wholly bespoke, the range includes sliding or folding shower doors, stylish curved glass shower screens and glass hung screens, in fact Ion offers the most comprehensive and versatile range of frameless showers currently available. Ion Glass bespoke shower screens accommodate sloped walls and ceilings, extra large and small openings, bathroom units, baths, unusual shapes or cutouts and disabled access. Ion shower screens are fitted with polished chrome ironmongery, completing the minimalist design of the frameless shower.
Glass flooring
Ion Glass structural glass flooring provides bespoke design solutions for residential and commercial interiors. Glass flooring is manufactured using 30-40mm laminated glass with a layer of sandblasted glass for anti-slip properties and safety. Decorative interlayers can be specified including translucent colours, tints, metallic mesh, fabrics and bespoke artwork, creating a unique installation.
Ion Glass flooring is manufactured to the exact size and shape required for each project along with frames and associated metalwork. Structural glass flooring can also be applied to Ion Glass rooflights.
Glass stairs
Architectural glass stairs are ideal for commercial and residential properties. Using double or triple laminated glass, the stair treads are manufactured to bespoke sizes, shapes and can also integrate decorative interlayers. Glass stairs also have an area of sandblasted glass to improve grip. Bespoke ironmongery and staircase frames can be manufactured for a complete system.
